About me
Chimango joined Ritz Attorneys at Law in January 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) obtained in October, 2024 from Cavendish University Zambia. Chimango has served as Quality Assurance and Client Service Officer [QACSO] from 2015 to 2023. As QACSO, Chimango was responsible for ensuring the firm meets client’s expectations by overseeing the attendance of all court cases under the firms care, ensuring that deadlines for preparation of court documents are met, resolving complaints raised by clients, vetting court documents before filing, preparing progress reports for corporate clients’ portfolios, conducting client satisfaction surveys, conducting market visibility surveys e.t.c.

In 2024, Chimango was promoted to Associate level. Throughout his time as an Associate, Chimango has been involved in transaction work including incorporation of Khanimambo Trading Company Limited, a Moçambique based company with interests in tobacco processing as well as obtaining its Investment Certificate at the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre, providing legal advise to MTN Zambia Global Networks on the enforceability of Escrow agreements governed by Malawi law in a USD 3, 000, 000.00 investment, incorporation of Brandscapes Innovations Company Limited e.t.c,
As an Associate, Chimango has also been involved in dispute settlement litigation including the drafting of court process, providing preliminary legal opinions to corporate and individual clients.
Within the firm, Chimango is a member of the Internal Procurement and Recruitment Committee and the Social Welfare Committee.
